MAYNE ISLAND INTEGRATED
WATER SYSTEMS SOCIETY

MEMBERSHIP

PRIVATE WELL OWNERS:

We welcome single membership in MIIWSS and recognize the single well owner as a major influence on the future of the Islands' aquifers. Membership is $5.00 annually with the membership year from January 1 to December 31.

ORGANIZED WATER SYSTEMS:

Memberships for a water system is $20.00 annually, with the membership year from January 1 to December 31. The Boards should designate two Trustees to attend meetings and relay the information to their larger constituency. Any attendees over the two designates should hold an individual membership, possibly subsidized by their Board, if they so choose.

ASSOCIATIONS and SOCIETIES:

Membership for Societies and Associations are welcomed as we join forces for the improvement of water and ecological stewardship.  Fees are $5.00 annually with the membership year from January 1 to Dec 31.

BUSINESSES:

Water related businesses have a choice of 2 types of memberships.
a) An annual $5.00 membership will list the business name and personal contact name and phone number, but no e-mail link.

b) An annual $50.00 membership will include one full letter size page advertisement, sent to MIIWSS camera ready. Copy may be changed once a year or alternate arrangements can be made by contacting MIIWSS at watersociety@shaw.ca. A small fee will be charged for changes over two times a year.

 


MIIWSS is for all Islanders who care about water conservation and education.
