BOARDS OF TRUSTEES: Each year, your local water Board will be looking for people to serve a term as Trustee. Elections are held at the AGMs, and to qualify, a person must be a registered property owner within the boundary of that water system. The Trustee candidates name must actually appear on the deed.

This is a rewarding way to serve both your local community, local and island wide. Talk with the Chair of your Board of Trustees and learn how you can help. . In this fashion, you will be assisting with your personal water supply, as well as protecting Mayne Island’s finite water supply.

If you cannot serve on the Board, please support them in every way possible, and especially by practicing every conservation method possible.

Please be the advocate for water preservation and conservation in your neighbourhood, and for our islands.
