	Frances Faminow is a well known Canadian artist who has exhibited her work in shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Burnaby Art Gallery, the Victoria Art Gallery and many others. Her gallery, The Artery, and her home is on Mayne Island, British Columbia.

Edith Point	Frances trained in art at Williamsette University, Salem, Oregon; the University of Oregon; Capilano College; University of British Columbia; and Victoria College of Art.  She has taught art and given workshops since the 1940s. Children as well as adults have attended her classes in Saskatoon, Vancouver, and the Gulf Islands
